Accessibility Statement

 Effective Date: 15th April 2025

WHG is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to provide a website that is inclusive, user-friendly, and accessible to the widest possible audience, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

We continually strive to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards wherever possible.

1. Our Commitment

We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and be able to use it with ease. This means you should be able to:

  • Navigate most of the site using a keyboard.

  • Use screen readers to access content.

  • Zoom in up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

  • Read content that is clearly structured and easy to understand.

  • Access text with sufficient contrast against background colours.

We have designed this site to work on current versions of major browsers including Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox, as well as on desktop and mobile devices.

2. What We’re Doing to Support Accessibility

We have:

  • Designed our site using semantic HTML and accessible navigation.

  • Added alternative text to all meaningful images.

  • Used headings and ARIA landmarks to help screen reader users.

  • Ensured form fields are clearly labelled and keyboard accessible.

  • Reviewed colour contrast and font sizes for readability.

3. Limitations and Areas for Improvement

While we aim for full accessibility, we recognise some content may not yet fully meet the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. This may include:

  • Third-party embedded content or plug-ins we do not control.

  • Occasional PDFs that may not be fully accessible to screen readers.

We are actively working to address these issues and welcome feedback on ways we can improve.

4. Reporting Accessibility Issues

If you encounter any problems accessing content or navigating our site, please let us know. We take accessibility seriously and will do our best to resolve any issues promptly.

Contact us:
Email: phil@whginfo.co.uk

Please include the page or feature you were trying to use and the nature of the issue.

5. Enforcement Procedure

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for further advice or to lodge a formal complaint:

6. Review and Updates

We review this statement regularly and update our website to improve accessibility. This statement was last reviewed on April 2026.
